The I Madonnari street painting festival is, by far, my favorite Santa Barbara event. Believe me, Santa Barbara has it’s fair share of celebrations, festivals, get togethers and fairs. For I Madonnari, I suppress my instinct to run from crowded places and stay and simply hang out a bit. The people are super nice, refreshingly sober and the paintings are out of this world.
