We spent the last week attending the first (as far as I know) Mitchell family reunion in Knoxville, Iowa. We had a wonderful time in spite of the 95 degree heat and ungodly humidity. Not only was it the first time meeting cousins I hadn’t seen in nearly thirty years but it was our kids first time on an airplane.Other firsts include:
- Cassidy’s first thunder and lightning storm
Cassidy’s first time catching lightning bugs
Cassidy’s first time feeding a pig an onion
My uncle Dick’s fist and last taste of a “Tater-tot Casserole”

Looks like Cassidy has a lot of fun. I love lightning bugs. Thats the only thing i like about the east coast though. lol. They do have cool lightning storms. Did Cassidy get scared? You should bring some photos of your trip to share with us. I would love to hear about it. I cant wait to see you guys Sunday. Tell Cassidy I said hi and cant wait to meet Emily. Love you all lots.
